I take pride in my classical approach to Rolfing; staying as close as possible to Ida Rolf's perceptive vision and standard of excellence while incorporating new and innovative techniques whenever ap-propriate. In addition, I strive at all times to be sensitive to the needs and goals of my clients while maintaining a high standard of professionalism.
Clients have sought me out to heal from lifelong postural prob-lems, car accidents, athletic injuries, job-related repetitive stress injuries, neck and back pain, tension headaches, joint problems and plantar fasciaitis. Others have sought to gain personal insight and healing from spiritual and emotional trauma in order to facilitate personal transformation. Whatever your goals may be, you can trust me to properly facilitate the transformational change you seek through Rolfing Structural Integration.
I have been in practice since 2001 and am a member of the Rolf Institute of Structural Integration, the Guild for Structural Integration and the International Association of Structural Integrators. To supplement my work, I have studied Craniosacral technique and the Reiki method of natural healing. I have also earned a BA in Sociology from Augsburg College in Minneapolis, Minnesota where I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Honors program. More recently, after passing a rigorous exam, I have becaome a Board Certified Structural Integrator. As of January 2010, fewer than 300 people have earned this title.
Many of my teachers and mentors are among the most prominent names in the Rolfing profession: Jim and Karen Price, Michael Salveson, Karen Lackritz, Russell Stolzoff, Carol Agneessens, Michael Murphy, Wiley Patterson, M.D., Vivian Jaye, Jim Asher, Jonathan Martine, John Schewe, Juan David Velez, Sara Forbes-Velez and Kimberly Jones. I am grateful for their wisdom, skill and generosity of spirit.
